Disconnecting from the Email Relay
In order to disconnect from the Email Relay, please follow the next steps:
Step 1 – Navigate to the “Compliance” page In Google Workspaces
Log into the Google admin portal as a admin.
Then, search and navigate to the “Compliance” page.
Step 2 – Disabling the Trustifi rule
In the “Compliance” page, scroll down to the “Content compliance” section where you will find the Trustifi outbound routing rule.
Click on the “Disable” button to stop the routing of emails through the Trustifi host.
Note: some Trustifi clients may have set up the Trustifi outbound rule in Google’s “Routing” page instead of under “Content Compliance“. In this case, simply navigate to the “Routing” page and disable the Trustifi outbound rule there.
Step 3 – Disabling the Email Relay Integration in Trustifi
Open the Trustifi web portal and log in as an admin.
Navigate to “Outbound Management” > “Plan Settings” > “Email Relay Integration” tab.
In the “Enable Relay” section, click on the toggle (and confirm) to disable the email relay integration in Trustifi.
After all of the steps above are completed, your outbound email traffic will no longer be routed via Trustifi.
