The grand opening of Teton Valley Hospital occurred in 1939. The building construction was a federal government Works Progress Administration (WPA) project. It took the combined efforts of everyone within the community to raise sufficient funds to furnish the 4-bed hospital adequately.

Background
Teton Valley Heath Care (TVHC) received the federal designation of a Critical Access Hospital in 2002. It was recognized that our geographic isolation from other medical facilities and our positive impact on life-or-death health emergencies meant that 24/7 access to our facility was crucial. In 2016, we earned three advanced-care certifications: Level IV Trauma Center, STEMI II (cardiac emergency care), and Stroke III (most complex stroke certification).
The Challenge
Josh and his team's top priorities for email security include protection against ransomware, a reliable email encryption solution, and effective link scanning, which were paramount for the organization to meet HIPPA healthcare compliance mandates.
A year ago, TVHC moved off Microsoft Exchange on-premise with Baracuda email security to M365. During the transitions, TVHC discovered several incapabilities and configuration challenges with Baracuda’s support, including unexpected increases in the pricing model for M365. These implications immediately raised security concerns and exposed TVHC to malicious links and other email security attacks.
Another challenge TVHC needed to address was automatically encrypting all outbound emails with sensitive personal healthcare information (PHI) and other critical data.
