Additional information – results for rules

The results under the “THEN” menu determine what will happen when a rule is triggered.

If you are not sure what any of these results mean, take a look at the following list.


 

Encrypt Message Content

Both the body and the attachments of the email will be encrypted.


 

Encrypt attachments only

The email’s attachments will be encrypted, but the body will not.

This result may not be applied together with “Encrypt Message Content”


Require Authentication

Recipients of the email will have to undergo Multi-Factor Authentication to access the email/attachments.

The authentication method will be the one set as default for the sender.


Postmark™

Applies legal proof of sending to the email using Trustifi’s patented Postmark™ technology.


Send Cc

A copy of the email will be sent to the specified recipient(s) in Cc.

You may enter as many recipients as you want (separated by commas).


Send Bcc

A copy of the email will be sent to the specified recipient(s) in Bcc.

You may enter as many recipients as you want (separated by commas).


Disable template

The email will be sent without the default wrapper (header and footer).


Block

The email will be blocked, and the sender will be notified.

This result has an option to allow sending the email after the initial block.


Stop rules processing

When this result is applied, no other rules will be applied to the email.


Alert admin

The plan’s admin will be alerted that a rule has been enforced.


Notify sender

The sender will be notified that a rule has been enforced.

Can only be applied to “Encrypt Message Content” and “Require Authentication”.
